Why do we practice yoga?
There are countles benefits of a regular Yoga practice be it on the physical or energetic body, the mental or emotional state, or the hormonal household. But most of all regular Yoga practice gives you a break from your monkey mind.“yogas citta vrtti nirodhah” (Yoga sutra 1.2 of Patanjali) – Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind, or in other words, Yoga is a state of stillness and clarity of the mind.
